Reinel Hernandez | DVM

Dr. Reinel Hernandez brings over 20 years of veterinary expertise to our clinic. A graduate of the University of the Llanos in Villavicencio, Columbia, he began his professional journey focusing on large animals, particularly horses and cows, with an emphasis on reproductive health. He furthered his education with postgraduate research in Montpellier, France. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Dr Hernandez is dedicated to providing exceptional care to pets and their families.

Emergency Medicine

Transitioning to small animal practice, Dr. Hernandez developed a keen interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, undergoing specialized training in fracture repair and tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO). His extensive experience in emergency medicine ensures that pets receive the highest quality care during critical moments.

Helping Pets Live Healthier Lives

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Hernandez enjoys traveling and spending time with his dogs and horses, reflecting his lifelong passion for animals. He is excited to bring his skills and dedication to our clinic, helping pets live healthier and happier lives.
